So our blog was featured on the best little blog I know. I use to go to school with Darci (the mom) I think we started off in grade school together. And now she is all grown up and has a cute family of her own. I feel a strange connection with her, I think because everything she writes about is my life, literally! I have to admit I stalk her blog because she writes the funniest stuff about kids and life and all the stuff in-between. When I want to pull my hair out, she reminds me that I'm not the only one who has kids that want to play in the toliet, stay in their pajamas most days and who ask when I start to clean, "who's coming over?" Anyway, she emailed me a couple days ago and asked if she could write about us. I was so overwhelmed with the kindness, that someone cared enough about our story to share it with others! I appreciate her support. Please check out her blog, it's amazing! And you can see our story too :) Click here!!
Also, she encouraged me to setup a PayPal, to make it easier on people who want to help us out. Such a great idea! There is a new little donate button on the right, you can still go through Wells Fargo too if you prefer that!
Hi there! I'm not sure if you know me or not (I also went to elementary school with Darci, so you might haha! You do look familiar...) And aren't Darci and her blog just awesome? I'm always on it too!
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, your story is very touching and your strength is very admirable! I really just read most of your blog, even from my phone. Your husband is so lucky to have you by his side in all of this! I am planning on donating to your fund, especially with Christmas coming up! I told my mom about it too and she wants to donate as well! Anyways, your family is in my thoughts and prayers and I am looking forward to reading updates on your blog.
PS- how old is your baby girl? Mine is almost 2, and if yours is younger I have some old clothes I was planning on giving away if you'd like them!
I'm a friend of Darci's. My heart sank when I read of your trial. A very dear friend of mine had similar trials. I would chat with Darci about it all. To hear a friend of hers is dealing with it also takes my breath away. Cancer sucks! That's the only way I know how to put it. I hope and pray you find the right doctors and treatment for your husband, I can't imagine being faced with these decisions. Your family looks darling. I started to cry picturing your sweet Dad trimming your bushes. Good luck with everything. I'll be checking in to read of the good news and progress of your husbands condition!
